In the past several months, we’ve made significant progress in the development of our TELUS eClaims module. Our main focus at this time is to deliver the best possible user experience while conforming to every business rule enforced by the TELUS system.
The module consists of three main functions:
- Submit claim
- Void claim
- Submit predetermination request
In addition to these functions, the system will process responses, as well as provide the option to print acknowledgements, rejections, and EOB results received from the TELUS eClaims Service when required.
We’re working to structure the process from creating a claim to receiving adjudication response to be as fluent as possible. Taking into account all business rules enforced by the TELUS system, the biggest challenge is to thoroughly validate the claim before it’s submitted – and then receive, process, display errors (if any) returned from TELUS eClaims Service, and point you to resolution.
At this point in time, we have successfully implemented the ground work with all necessary configurations, including creating and submitting a claim. However, we have yet to implement the Void and Predetermination requests.
Stay tuned for another update on our progress in August. While we’re working hard to release the first version of the module as soon as possible – it’s always our priority to deliver quality to our customers.
