Aside from the license fee, are there any other startup costs?

No. There are no additional startup costs. We prepare your Business Setup by entering your Providers, Service & Product prices, and Treatment Plan templates, and then install the system on the computers you designate. We provide remote support, unlimited access to Universal Office knowledge base, and 2 months subscription absolutely free. That means for the first two months there are NO bills and you will NOT incur any charges.

What does it cost to transfer data from our current system into Universal Office?

There are no additional fees to transfer patient demographic information, such as first name, last name, gender, date of birth, telephone numbers, and addresses. If you are looking to transfer additional data, such as appointments, case details, injuries, billing, treatment plans, invoices, reconciled payments, and so on, we will review and analyze your request, and then provide you with a quote.

What are the minimum system requirements for Universal Office?

A server consumes more resources than a client, and therefore, requires more processing power, memory, and disk space. The hardware requirements for a server will also depend on the number of simultaneous users. The CPU and memory requirements increase as the number of simultaneous users increases. What HCAI functionality does Universal Office support?

Universal Office can submit OCF-18, OCF-21B, OCF-21C, OCF-23, and Form 1 to insurers electronically via HCAI. Universal Office also receives Adjuster Responses (Approved, Partially Approved, Not Approved) from HCAI. Any messages and comments on proposed goods and services that accompany Adjuster response are also delivered to Universal Office.

Is there a limit on the number of providers?

No. There are no limits on the number of providers. Every price plan includes unlimited providers.

Where is my data physically located?

Your information is stored at your office. The data resides on a computer you dedicate as the server.

What kind of reports can be extracted?

100s of statistical and financial reports, from simple lists to complex Collections and A/R, are readily available. With the integrated Report Builder, you can create custom report templates.

How do training and support work?

We offer remote training and support. Support calls are dealt with on the first-come-first-serve basis. One-on-one training is scheduled ahead of time. We pride ourselves with fast and friendly service.
