What’s happened so far?
Old Passwords Don’t Work: On July 31, the old HCAI was completely decommissioned. All old usernames and passwords are now void. All health care facilities must submit a NEW enrolment form whether previously enroled or not. As of October 9, any enrolment forms received will be processed with an effective date of December 7, which is the date you can start transmitting OCF forms electronically. If your facility’s assigned date is different than the effective date, HCAI will e-mail you with that change.
Previously-enroled facilities and practices can submit a Pilot Re-enrolment form, which is available here. If using this form you must have your HCAI Facility ID number, which is located on the HCAI Electronic Terms and Conditions that was submitted from previous enrolment. This is NOT the same as your AISI number.
In case you cannot find your HCAI facility number OR you wish to register from the beginning you may do so by going to www.hcai.ca and clicking on “Register a Facility” link. Before you do so, we recommend you download the registration instructions.
Software Updates: Throughout August, software vendors and the IBC completed quality assurance tests according to schedule. Additionally, voluntary insurers and healthcare providers participated in user acceptance test workshops.
What’s next?
