Back in October 2025, HCAI announced an upcoming system update scheduled for June 29, 2026. As with previous releases, this update introduces regulatory changes that will impact how PMS systems interact with HCAI.
From the information shared so far, Release 3.35 will include updates to OCF forms, changes to form content and structure, and additional requirements that PMS vendors must support to remain compliant.
Universal Office already provides full HCAI integration – allowing you to create OCF forms, submit them electronically (OCF-18, 21B, 21C, 23, Form 1), and receive adjuster responses directly within the system. These core workflows remain unchanged.
What is changing is how those workflows must align with the updated HCAI requirements.
Our team has been working through the vendor materials and preparing the necessary updates to ensure Universal Office remains fully compliant when the release goes live. This includes supporting revised OCF forms, accommodating new data requirements such as the introduction of Gender X, and aligning with other regulatory updates introduced as part of this release.
