It’s almost here – our brand new Online Booking module. This much anticipated feature will be available as a beta in only a few short weeks!
Online booking will allow your clients to schedule appointments online, right from your clinic’s website. These appointments then sync directly with the Appointment Book of your Universal Office. Exciting, right?
We’re sure you’re all ready to sign up for the beta, because seriously, who wouldn’t be? All you have to do is submit your request to support@antibex.com letting us know that you would like to be a part of the online booking pilot, and we’ll get in touch with you as soon as it’s released to schedule a time to get you set up and booking online.
It’s very important to note that in order to have the best user experience, you must have a dedicated stand-alone server. In other words, your server computer is not being used as an everyday workstation by staff, but rather it is isolated, as the name suggests. This will not increase the number of Universal Office license subscriptions, as Universal Office does not need to be open on the server computer. Before setting up online booking, we will ensure that the server is on a stand-alone computer and that it meets our minimum system requirements. If it does not meet these requirements, we may not be able to proceed with the online booking setup.
In our first release of this module, you’ll be able to configure public calendars, make services available for online booking, and invite patients to their secure online portal account.
The portal account will allow patients to schedule new appointments, preview upcoming appointments, and browse their appointment history – on any device. They will also be able to schedule appointments for their dependents all through one account and in one place.

Our online scheduling is so intuitive and easy to use, your client won’t need special training to use it. This module makes workflows more efficient for scheduling staff by lighting the load so they can focus on other clinic management tasks. Clients book their own appointments at their convenience from anywhere, easily and quickly – fewer missed calls, miscommunication, call backs, and chasing.
Control
You are in control of which healthcare provider schedules are shared publicly to patients, the services that are available to be booked online, and the patients you allow to schedule appointments online.
Accessibility
Online booking allows patients to book appointments on whichever device, whenever and wherever they are, as long as they have access to an internet connection. This freedom and flexibility is a much sought-after feature by both clinics and clients alike.
Security
Patients are only able to view their own and dependent’s appointment information. This data is encrypted and only accessible through the secure patient portal. Patients should be educated on the importance of keeping portal account information safe and confidential. Clients should be advised that they can request to have family members linked to their account, so they can schedule appointments for them.
Integrates With Your Schedule
Schedules are updated in real time – which means appointments booked online are automatically synced with your Appointment Book in Universal Office. Clients, providers and administrative staff always have access to the most up-to-date, live schedule information.
