Beginning September 1, 2010, HCAI is releasing new Ontario Claim Forms (OCFs). If you are already registered with HCAI, you will be required to start using these forms immediately. If you are not using HCAI yet, you must still use the new forms, which can be downloaded from the FSCO website.
To learn more about HCAI registration, visit www.hcaiinfo.ca.
In order to adjust for the new auto reform changes, HCAI (for PMS and online submissions) will be taken offline from 5:00:01 p.m. EDT on August 31, 2010, returning online September 1 at 8:00 a.m. EDT. Please note that all transactions to be processed before September 1 must be submitted prior to 5:00 on August 31. Make sure you give yourself time to complete the transaction before the deadline!
To help you with the new HCAI reforms, please make note of the following information:
- Draft forms saved prior to September 1, 2010 may not be modified and submitted after August 31, 2010.
- You will be able to create a new draft plan or an invoice from a previously submitted plan.
- Visit the HCAI website to view videos and written material explaining form changes.
- The FSCO website has documentation explaining the introduction of the Minor Injury Guideline (MIG).
