In an ongoing commitment to make your job easier, we’re happy to announce our plans for integrating Universal Office with TELUS Health eClaims. This partnership will allow you to submit Extended Health claims to participating insurance companies that are registered to electronically receive claims for paramedical services.
TELUS Health eClaims is a type of Electronic Data Transfer (EDT) that allows service providers and healthcare facilities to submit invoices for paramedical services (Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, etc.) to participating eClaims insurers right from Universal Office – without having to visit the TELUS eClaims Service Portal, thus avoiding double-entry.
While we’re working to integrate the electronic submission of claims, the receive-and-process response, as well as some other features that may be available in the provided TELUS eClaims Service API (such as pre-approval and void claim requests), we’ll keep you posted on this blog as we progress through the integration process.
Our goal is to complete integration with the TELUS Health eClaims service between June and July 2016. The final implementation and availability of the eClaims EDT in Universal Office is contingent on availability of TELUS support and their conformance team.
We thank you for your patience while we go through the development phase, and we look forward to allowing you to give your patients the eClaims treatment right from Universal Office.
