This year, there’s a new way to stay connected with the Ontario physiotherapy community!
For the first time in their 57-year history, the Ontario Physiotherapy Association will be holding their InterACTION conference virtually, using Socio! About 200 PTs, PTAs, students, and recent grads are expected to attend in 2021.

What To Expect

Keynote Speakers
Joshua Tepper (MD, MPH, MBA) will be delivering a morning keynote speech titled “Leading in a Time of Change”
Phillip Sheppard (PT, DrPH candidate, MSc Kin) and Michel D. Landry (PT, MBA, Ph.D., Professor) will be delivering an afternoon keynote speech titled “Physiotherapy in the time of COVID-19: Learning and Leveraging Opportunities from the Crisis”
Dr. Shelley Dev (MD) will be the closing speaker presenting: “Personal and Professional Perspective on Mental Health and Resilience”

Networking
Get ready to wander through a virtual exhibition hall using Socio! The platform will have a networking room for everyone to connect with each other via audio or video. Using this platform, you will create an avatar to roam around, visit tables, and connect with others in the room. All speakers will also be on the platform to answer questions and network with InterACTION attendees.

Education
Join in on a combination of live and pre-recorded sessions to hear from presenters about the findings of their emerging research – in the areas of clinical/best practices, business/management, professional leadership, education/mentorship, and health systems.

Fun!
You’ll have a chance to use a social wall (resembling a Facebook feed) to share your thoughts and pictures, a scavenger hunt, and much more.

Your ticket will include access to all virtual components of the InterACTION 2021 conference and on-demand virtual content for six months following the conference.

- Students (Members & Non-Members): $10 + HST
- CPA Member (outside Ontario): $25 + HST
- Non-Members (Excluding Students/New Grads): $50 + HST
