Still reeling from the sudden immersion with Windows 8? Well, good news comes with Windows 10 – it’s an entirely different beast. It’s racking up incredible reviews by experts from CNET to TechCrunch, all touting the many benefits of the latest version. Testimonials and rave reviews are fantastic, but even better is that Windows 10 is completely free (as long as you have a genuine Windows 7 or 8 license).
Microsoft promises that Windows 10 is compliant with most of your favorite go-to software, which makes upgrading from Windows 7 or 8 an easy transition. It also features the best security available, with advanced prevention tools such as Windows Hello (password management) and Device Guard. So should you hurry up and download this awesome OS? Yes and no.
the computer that works as your Universal Office server cannot yet be upgraded
While the computer that works as your Universal Office server cannot yet be upgraded, we’re working to have it compliant with Windows 10 as soon as possible – and we’ll follow up with an announcement once we verify compliance in a few weeks. You can, however, update your client (workstation) computers right away. Universal Office works perfectly on client computers, but make sure any other applications you use are compliant with the new OS. And keep in mind that if you’re using Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 on your workstation, you’ll want to upgrade immediately.
