New Insurers and Providers Join TELUS Health eClaims

TELUS Health eClaims allows service providers to directly submit claims for incurred treatments for their clients to a number of insurance companies – including Great-West Life, Manulife, Sun Life, Industrial Alliance, Desjardin, and many more. This service helps reduce clients’ out-of-pocket expenses, helps retain existing clients with a proven increase in return appointments, and also provides free marketing (once registered).

New insurance companies are frequently being added, as are types of service providers that are registered with eClaims. Recently, two new types of service providers were added and three new insurers are coming soon. These are the latest additions:

Recently Added Service Provider Types

As of May 27th, eClaims is now available for two new service provider types:

  1. Dietitians
  2. Speech therapists

TELUS Health eClaims now allows dietitians and speech therapists to bill directly on behalf of clients who are covered by Great West Life, Industrial Alliance, Desjardin, and Claimsecure – with more insurers to come in the near future.

Insurance Companies Coming Soon

This September, TELUS Health will be adding three Benefit Plan Administrator’s (BPA) third-party payers (TPP) and Union Benefits to eClaims:

  1. LiUNA Local 183
  2. Canadian Construction Workers Union
  3. LiUNA Local 506

ClaimSecure was added to TELUS Health eClaims in March of this year.
