With the latest release of new OCFs and HCAI behind us, we can finally focus on completing TELUS eClaims integration.
The past few weeks have been a bumpy ride. While the latest HCAI compliant update was published back in April 2016, hundreds of customers managed to leave it until the last minute, and as a result, our call centre was overflown with support calls.
The number-one issue during that period were errors submitting OCF-18s, OCF-23s and OCF-21s to HCAI. Since HCAI has updated their system to accept the new OCFs as of June 1st, their system started to reject outdated versions of OCF-18, OCF-21 and OCF-23.
As always, we do our best to answer every call, address every issue and assist every customer with the update. However, due to overwhelming call volume during this period, some of you had experienced delay in service.
Many of you had experienced Windows 10 update issues, which added to the burden and took more time to service â thus resulting in even longer delays to response time. We do our best to keep you informed about topics, such as upgrading to Windows 10 to help you be proactive and avoid potential problems.
We revived our blog last summer to better communicate with every single one of you, and to publish relevant and important information. To avoid unnecessary collisions in the future, we strongly encourage everyone to keep up to date and be the first to know important topics on our blog.
Many of you who follow our blog and email notifications have managed to update their Universal Office between April and May, thus skipping the wait and avoiding errors when submitting claim forms to HCAI. (If you are not receiving update notifications from us, send us an email at support@antibex.com and request to be added to our mailing list.)
July is an ambitious goal to complete the TELUS eClaims integration (which is one of the most challenging ones we have come across). And while we remain committed and will do our best to meet it, there have been a number of distractions during this recent update and several other important tasks that required immediate attention from our support and development teams in the past few months. Keep in mind that the level of complexity, the strict business rules, and the number of details that go into the TELUS eClaims requirements make this integration remarkably complex.
Stay tuned on our blog as we keep you updated on our integration progress!
